Attachments

Overview
Users can attach files to the records of most ServicePRO objects when creating or updating them. The maximum file sizes for attachments can be set by the Administrator; by default this limit is 5MB.Users can attach files to the following objects:
- Requests
- Users
- Companies
- Organizational Unit
- Assets
- Purchase Orders
- Categories
- Roles
- Best Solutions
Add Attachments
- From the New or Update Service Request window, click the Attach File icon (paperclip).
- Select Attach File(s) to browse and navigate for a file.
- Select the file and click Open.
Remove Attachments
- To remove an attachment, click Remove File(s).
- If applicable, enter additional details about the attachment in the Description box. This information will be shown along with attachments when Attachment details are viewed from any other object type.
- Click OK when finished and click Save on the request to save the attachment. Attached items are shown in the Documents tab when a User views an object's details.
